by cpp_admin on November 13, 2018

After the deadly boat accident involving Chinese tourists in Thailand, the Chinese government has drafted extensive regulations targeting online travel agencies and platforms. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China will require travel agencies to improve emergency plans, conduct better vetting and managing of ground service providers, and purchase liability insurance.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, Chinese outbound travel agents must work with NTA-registered tour operators to handle group leisure travel to the United States. NTA is the only organization designated by the MCT to manage such a program.
